Third consecutive weekly drop in sheep slaughter

Sheep slaughter declined for the third consecutive week to just 7,671 head, 2,507 fewer than the previous week (-25%) and the lowest level since the second week of August last year. Lambs totaled 2,808 head, accounting for only 37% of the total.
